The Department of Otolaryngology at Steward Medical Group is searching for a full-time dispensing Audiologist join our staff in or new office in Brockton MA. The department sponsors the newborn hearing screening program throughout Steward Healthcare’s network of hospitals in eastern Massachusetts and offers comprehensive audiological and vestibular assessment and rehabilitation across the lifespan.
We are looking for an energetic audiologist who would like to establish their own dispensing and diagnostic practice for a primarily adult population. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of establishing your own practice, but with the advantage of being supported by the Steward Medical Group. The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive audiometric care, to fit our patients with conventional hearing aids, and to help grow this new practice. Those practitioners interested in participating in clinical teaching or research have the option to apply for an academic appointment through Tufts University School of Medicine.
1) A license to practice Audiology in the state of Massachusetts (or the ability to acquire such license within 3 months of starting).
2) Clinical Certification as an Audiologist with either the American Academy of Audiology or the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
