Infusion Nurse Coordinator

Steward Medical Group Infusion Practice located in Taunton, MA is looking for a compassionate and experienced registered nurse who has clinical experience with IV medication infusion and thorough understanding of IV therapies and how to administer these therapies in an outpatient clinic setting. The position is 32 hours per week.
The nurse will provide and coordinate infusion activities, including but not limited to: performing patient assessments including vital signs, starting and accessing IVs and central lines in accordance to proper guidelines, signing off of prescribed medication orders, and the administration of medication according the prescribed treatment plan. The nurse will provide direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and clinical standards. The nurse will work closely with the providers to ensure quality patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders. The infusion nurse will also promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all member of the care delivery team.
RN, BSN preferred, with MA license required. Certified registered nurse infusion (CRNI) certification or equivalent preferred. Oncology nurse certification a plus. Current ACLS/BCLS certification required.
