The Practice Coordinator will primarily support the Radiology Departments of Nashoba Valley Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintains the department schedule and contacts providers for department coverage as needed
  • Answers and triages all telephones calls, routes appropriately taking into consideration the extent of emergency of call, takes messages, follows through with each message ensuring that it is received by the appropriate party
  • Assists with onboarding and enrollment of new providers
  • Analyze operational issues and solve them creatively
  • Acts as an information resource for administrative questions in close cooperation with the Department Chief. Acts as the liaison between physicians, staff and Administrations
  • Liaisons with billing company to maximize revenue associated with the patient billing process for the Practice
  • Manage administrative activities for the Department Chair(s) Coordinate and process bi-weekly payroll for on-site physicians
  • Process reimbursements for assigned Providers
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate necessary meeting logistics
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant policies and procedures and provide information in this regard as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of all material
  • Works on special projects as requested
  • Travel to assigned sites required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in an independent manner in a fast-paced environment
