Position Summary:

The Referral Coordinator ensures Referrals made by the providers

are processed to ensure our patients receive a timely follow-up, on

their diagnosis. They verify patient’s insurance and request

authorization for pending referrals. Referral Coordinators are

required to follow up patients to ensure the patient has all required

information.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a high school degree or general equivalence degree.
  2. May have 1 year experience in a physician’s practice.
  3. It would be helpful if person is a Medical Assistant or a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  4. Must demonstrate knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with all ages.
  5. Must demonstrate knowledge of computers.

Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral tools
