Steward Medical Group - Orthopedic Surgery Scheduler - East Mesa Location-1807063



Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork.  Schedules patients for diagnostic testing, MRI/CT.  Reviews patient medications/health history to determine pre-admission testing.


Schedules appropriate medical and cardiac clearances. Schedules patients for post op appointments.  Obtains authorization and benefits for upcoming procedures.


Coordinates with outside vendors to ensure proper medical equipment and implant devices are ordered and scheduled for surgical procedures.

Prior surgery scheduling experience is required, prefer experience scheduling for a busy, multiple provider Orthopedic practice


Must be able to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
